Rail Delay Compensation Update

The National Rail Conditions of Travel has recently been updated and one of the main areas of change covers the payment options you now have if you are claiming compensation for delayed journeys.
Compensation can be paid in rail travel vouchers or if you request it, in money. Refunds will be made to debit or credit cards used to pay for the ticket. Or at the discretion of the train company in cash, cheque or bank transfer.
Rail travel vouchers can be exchanged or used in part payment for tickets for any rail journey on the services of the train companies.
