Emirates to offer A380 aircraft on all London services - Flightline Business Travel News BlogThe Gulf carrier Emirates’ announced that its daily flights to London will now all be served by the A380 from 1st of January 2016, after the airline replaced its B777 service with the new aircraft.

The airline currently offers A380 services to Heathrow five times a week, as well as three daily  services to Gatwick Airport – two served by the A380 superjumbo and one flight with a B777. Flights between Dubai and Gatwick will be A380 services.

Combined with the Emirates double daily A380 flights to Manchester, Emirates will offer 70 A380 services per week for leisure and business travellers flying from and to the UK. The deployment of a third A380 to London Gatwick provides travellers to and from London can enjoy the airlines premier A380 service on every flight.

Due to a recent increase in traveller demand the Gulf carrier has recently moved the A380 service, which was originally planned for June, forward to April. The eighth A380 flights to the English capital represents the airline’s commitment to invest in the UK market, where it operates 119 flights per week via six key business travel destinations including Heathrow, Gatwick, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle and Glasgow Airports.
