British Airways Singapore lounge opens at Changi Airport

British Airways’ newly refurbished first-class Singapore lounge is now open to leisure and business travellers at Changi Airport. Delegates flying with British Airways from Singapore are set to be spoilt in the airline’s newly refurbished airport lounge, which is located in Terminal 1.
The brand new lounge is featuring the very latest Galleries design and displaying artwork from British and Singaporean artists. The Singapore Changi Lounge is part of the airline’s £5 billion investment project aimed to improve customer experience.

The main lounge area will be available to BA First and Club World travellers, Executive Gold and Silver members as well as members of the Oneworld frequent flyer programme having Emerald or Sapphire status. The main lounge offers a wide range of facilities such as coat check, option to store their baggage, as well as shower rooms to get refreshed during the trip. Especially business travellers will benefit from access to complimentary wifi, desktop computers and a wireless printer. There is also a wide selection of food and drinks available at buffet counters and the bar.
The Concorde Bar Singapore
However, the centrepiece of the new British Airways Singapore lounge is the Concorde Bar Singapore, which offers First customers the opportunity to relax and those needing to get some work done before boarding their flight. The bar is exclusive to First class passengers and their eligible guests, who will be provided with an exclusive password to access the area.
Being the first Concorde Bar open in the world, its interior design features black Nero marble surfaces, champagne metal finishes and European oak flooring. The bar offers travellers “digital panoramic views of the Singapore skyline enabling travellers to enable them to connect to the time of day outside when travelling. The exclusive Concorde Bar Singapore offers also a wide choice of seating options from communal bar seating, dining booths to private sofa corners.
The new lounge offers travellers a first-class environment to relax and work, which is perfectly tailored around the needs of the modern premium travellers including those travelling for work purposes.
According to the airline further openings are planned globally, with the next Concorde Bar to open in Dubai.
