A number of reciprocal benefits for British Airways Executive Club members and BMI Diamond Club members will be introduced, with effect from 20 April.

Executive Club and Diamond Club members will be able to earn Avios and destinations miles on both British Airways flights and bmi flights, for flights taken from 20 April 2012 and will introduce shortly the option to spend Avios and destinations miles across both airlines.

A number of reciprocal benefits for British Airways Executive Club members and bmi Diamond Club members will be introduced, with effect from today:

  • Executive Club and Diamond Club members will be able to earn Avios and destinations miles on both British Airways flights and bmi flights, for flights taken from 20 April 2012 and will introduce shortly the option to spend Avios and destinations miles across both airlines.
  • From today, Executive Club and Diamond Club Gold and Silver members will be able to access both British Airways and bmi lounges at London Heathrow and London Gatwick, when flying with bmi or British Airways – members should present their Executive Club or Diamond Club Gold or Silver card on arrival to gain access.
  • British Airways will extend an invitation to Diamond Club members to join the British Airways Executive Club at an equivalent tier status level.
  • Reciprocal transfer of Avios or destinations miles at a rate of 1:1.
