You will know that from 18th May all advance purchase tickets will change to one common name - Advance Advance tickets will have the same terms & conditions and Railcard discounts nationwide. New terms & conditions apply to all Advance fares sold to customers on or after 24th April 2008 for travel on or after 18th May 2008. Although Advance tickets are non-refundable, customers can make changes to time or date of travel prior to departure. The difference between price paid and the next suitable fare for the journey is payable, plus a fee of £10 per person, per single ticket. As travel agents are not able to raise this transaction through their ticket issuing systems, it will be necessary to issue a new ticket. Send your Refund ticket back to your travel agent, and a print-out showing evidence of the new ticket issued. Remember Advance tickets are not refundable in normal circumstances and so these tickets should only be submitted to the Travel Agent Refunds Service where a change has been made to travel plans. |
